Scottish Detectives Searching For Killer Of 14-Year-Old Heavy Metal Fan

Lynn Davidson and Michael Howie of News.Scotsman.com report that detectives hunting the brutal killer of Jodi Jones today released new pictures of the schoolgirl in an effort to jog the memory of anyone who might have seen her on the night she was killed.

The images, taken from family home videos, show the 14-year-old as happy and carefree, and a "typical" teenager, with her own "grunge" look.

The move comes nearly four days after Jodi's partially clothed body was found by her 14-year-old boyfriend on a secluded woodland path near her Midlothian home.

She had been stabbed several times and her throat slashed.

She has been described as a grade A student and was due to sit exams for her eight standard grades next year. She loved music and was a fan of NIRVANA, METALLICA, KORN and QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE. Read more.
